What to do if emulsion paint has been applied to calcium silicate boards

First and foremost, we hope that this does not happen, as this is not professional processing.

However, if you have accidentally used the wrong color, you have the following options:

  1. Sanding the panels: If the panels were filled before the paint was applied, it is possible to sand off the paint.
However, this is associated with considerable effort, dust development and material loss.
  2. Replacing the wall cladding: Another option would be to remove the panels completely and re-clad the wall.
  3. Leave as is: Alternatively, you can leave the panels as they are and hope that they will still be able to fulfill their function, at least in part, and that no mold will develop.
