Do calcium silicate boards still need to be plastered after bonding?

Yes - calcium silicate boards are glued to butt joints and then you should at least fill the joints.

However, a professional solution is to fill the entire surface. You can use our ultra-smooth lime filler for this. This is a smoother and provides a particularly fine surface, which you can then paint with our silicate paint. If you prefer a textured surface, you can use our brush and roller plaster as a finish.
