Silicate primer consists mainly of potassium water glass, a mineral binder that forms a solid bond with the substrate through silicification. It regulates absorbency, improves adhesion and helps to improve the diffusion-open and mold-inhibiting properties of the substrate. Its mineral base enables a long-lasting, even and moisture-regulating coat of silicate paint.
