Calcium silicate boards generally have a very high compressive strength. Our basic panel is approx. 1000 kPa basic panel, which corresponds to around 100 tons. The extra strong panel is approx. 2700 kPa, which corresponds to around 280 tons.
The panels can break or flake off in the event of heavy impacts or improper handling or if sharp objects are inserted.
But it also depends on the panel thickness. The thicker the panel, the more stable it is.
Important to know: A broken panel is not "broken" or defective. Broken ones can be used in exactly the same way and are in no way restricted or inferior in terms of their properties. So try to use every piece and protect the environment to avoid unnecessary waste. Thank you very much!
