Yes, mold can grow behind calcium silicate panels if they are not installed correctly.
Frequent problems during processing:
- the panels do not lie flat on the surface, so that there are cavities behind the panel.
- Adhesive was not applied over the entire surface
- Incorrect, non-system-compliant materials have been used (e.g. tile adhesive or similar). please do not use under any circumstances use!)
- There was no proper sealing of a leaking wall, so that water presses and forms cavities etc.
