The use of calcium silicate boards with wood is not professional. However, you can use them in combination with a vapor barrier. This prevents the damp calcium silicate board from coming into direct contact with the wood. Without this vapor barrier, the wood itself can rot or become moldy. To do this, use a commercially available vapor barrier (often in foil form) from a retailer. You should also place furniture a few centimeters away from the wall.
