The calcium silicate single panels in the format 1,000 x 1,000 with a thickness of 30 mm can be installed on walls and ceilings in almost any room, as they take up little space but still require 20% more material than the 25 mm panels, which is particularly noticeable in the thinner thicknesses.

Which panel thickness is right for me?

The correct panel thickness depends on various factors, which we would like to explain to you in more detail. To achieve optimum insulation, we look at the lambda value of our calcium silicate boards. This value describes the thermal conductivity and the lower it is, the better the material insulates.

As it is not always possible to calculate all the technical constraints, especially for private customers, the simplest choice of panel thickness is often a question of budget and available space. Here, the maximum possible should be selected in order to achieve an individually good result.
