Processing
It is important that the surface is non-greasy, dry and clean in order to make full use of the adhesive performance of the product! Please do not open the soft foam joint tape until immediately before use, as it starts to swell immediately. All you need to apply the product is a pair of scissors or a cutter knife, as it is self-adhesive. We recommend measuring and shortening the joint tape before applying it, as this will make your work easier.
Now all you have to do is remove the adhesive protection strip from the back of the joint tape and stick it in the desired position.
Tips for processing the joint tape with calcium silicate boards
- If the joint tape does not swell as desired, use a hairdryer on a hot setting and carefully run it along the tape.
- If you are using the joint tape in conjunction with calcium silicate boards, stick the joint tape first so that the calcium silicate board is directly connected to the joint tape.
